I just got a spam Email for a company that offer computer Tech support.
![]() The guy oviusly didn't check my site since this is what I am offering and for free ![]() In the Email he say this was a one time Opt out. So, is Opt out is when I sign to a service and forget to uncheck all the boxes for "Extra" things or opt out is somthing like they just add me with out me even signing to somthing. (I didn't sign to any thing on the last copple of years BTW). I was unther the asumption that Opt in is signing to somthing and the allready checked boxes for Extras are the opt In. And that Opt out is when I check the Extra boxes. Can some one clerefy this onec amd for all ![]() |

Basically
opt-in is when the box is unchecked and you check the box. opt-out is when the box is pre-checked (and you didn't uncheck it) double opt-in is when a box is unchecked and you check it and then they send an e-mail confirmation in which you usually have to click on a link to confirm. |

1. It was sent to my Privet address.
2. I didn't sign to nothing. 3. More spam is coming from more sources...... Can it be that some one is delibratly adding me to spam lists or that some one have harvested my address and selling it to numeros lists ? I did un subscribed to the first one using the embaded link but the second one came afer words, was for a gambling site and didn't had such a option (thanks to the Eudora filters it will be deleted from now on). ![]() |
