Free webmaster tool programs? - geek/talk: Signature-free discourse for serious web publishers

I know this question sounds like it would be more appropriate in 1999 than 2001

Still, I'm interested in hearing about any affiliate programs that pay for new user signups to any of the following:-

* A free guestbook service
* A free online bookmark manager-type service
* A free bulletin board or discussion board
* A free online calendar or Personal Information Manager
* A free counter
* A free ISP (USA preferrably, but any other country is interesting too)
* A free mailing list provider
* A free reminder service
* A free search engine (to search your OWN site, not to search the web!)
* A free URL redirection service

Criteria:-

A) CANNOT BE BRAVENET - I can't stress this enough. I know they offer most of the above - but I've also sent them several hundred targeted clicks without generating even one $1 signup!

B) The service must be free (it can also have for-fee options, but the affiliate payment should be for signups to the free service)

C) The per action payout doesn't matter much - I'm making a good CPM-equivalent right now with a $0.05 per new user program, so obviously if the product is free, and fits into one of my targeted categories, I wanna know!

I run a website about webmaster tools/information and I have similar experiences with Bravenet.

Anyway, I'm doing well with these programs on CJ:

* A free counter: IndexTools.com, pays $ 0.50 per lead.

* A free guestbook service : Hits4Me.com, pays $0.15 per lead.

* A free mailing list provider: ListPower.com, $0.50 per lead.

They all pay you for signups for their free services.

I hope someone knows a few other programs, I'm interested as well.

By the way, I'm getting good results with eFax (free/for fee fax service), Mail2World (free email) and Streamload (free file storage), all of which are on CJ. Perhaps some of these would be of interest to you...

5. Win Free advertising - $0.75/signup
6. Ad results weekly(weekly ad tips) - $0.35/signup
7. Uresk Webmaster Contest - $0.25/lead
8. Free website content - $0.17/lead
9. Advertising Results.net free trial - $7/lead

Apart from the above they have free software and free utilites offers which might interest webmasters.

Leadcrunch is currently running a contest in which they are giving away 200 MB webspace/15GB bandwith + extras(php etc) for one year free of cost - $0.15/lead

Thanks! I'll give the URL redirection a try. The $0.05 per free hosting signup landing site is just too convoluted to be worth trying

I'm still on the lookout for a bunch of free web tool offers (see my list posted at the beginning of this thread for specifics), so if anyone else has ideas, please let me know!
