Default FineClicks back with CPC.

I got this email today from Chet....

part of the email....

Quote:
We have added some new offers to FineClicks.com
Pay per click offers are now back. Due to limited inventory we can only offer access to click offers for select affiliates. To be fair I made it so you must have earned a total of $25 with us before you are granted access.

If you have $25 or more in your account or earned $25 or more at one time or another you can send me an email asking for access to cpc offers. Be sure to provide your username...
What do you think?

It's great news.

Chet seems to have taken a leaf out of the Shareasale book in restricting CPC offers only to those publishers who have proven either their longevity with the firm or ability to convert clicks to leads, which is likely to reduce script-kiddie fraud to some degree.

Hopefully this will raise the appeal of CPC advertising to marketers, and result in renewed interest in the model.

FWIW, some of the affiliate networks operating in the same market as FineClicks (such as DirectLeads and Affiliate-Fuel) have recently increased their exposure to CPC, which suggests that the humble click has not yet given up the ghost.

When I was in the Marines I was nicknamed Crazy Chet.
I wonder why that is...

Chet,

Our cell phone staff already calls you that and it doesn't have anything to do with the Marines.

Kidding aside...we are seeing a resurgence in CPC campaigns. Not like a year ago....but more folks are asking for them.
