Default

you can just use telnet ftp transfer

1. tar and gzip up your old server files

i.e. if your site root is

/home/username/public_html

cd /home/username
tar cvf public_html.tar public_html

that would tar up all contents in public_html and subdirectories into a file public_html.tar

gzip it

gzip -9 public_html.tar

which will further compress it into a public_html.tar.gz file

then telnet ftp at prompt type

ftp newraqipaddress

then you'll be prompted to login into your raq4 server

once it you'll be at ftp prompt

ftp>

type

ftp> bin

then

ftp> put public_html.tar.gz

that will transfer your files to your raq4 server

then to end the ftp session in telnet

ftp> quit

which will bring you back to prompt on your old server telnet
