Hello. I am looking for a hosting company for my site.
Right now I have about 60000 hits/day and 25 GB transfer/month. The company I am using tell they offer unlimited badwidth for virtual hosting, but only if you don't have more than 120000 hits a day. I need about 250 MB, CGI and telnet (and stats logs if possible), no MySQL or PHP. I have seen some companies that offer unlimited bandwidth and number of hits, webhosting.com for example. Is this true? Could anyone indicate me a good choice? In a few time I could go over the 120000 hits/day. Thanks. |

Try visiting www.webhostingtalk.com . The people there review the various companies that they host on through a discussion board . Pretty informative .

xotrm welcome to the forum
![]() by the way, there is no such thing as unlimited transfer or bandwidth ... once you hit the limit, your site will be terminated for "using too much resources" if you dont use too much cgi, i think you can consider tera-byte.com. |

yup yup tera-byte used to have frequent down time and users from some countries can't reach the server, however i think they must have fixed it as i have no downtime (except for upgrading, which have been informed earlier) for 2 months.

I've been with 4webspace.com (owned by Tera-Byte) for 6 months. They did have a network-wide downtime of about 8 hours in the beginning due to faulty core router, but now it is all smooth and nice and my dedicated server didn't have a minute of downtime due to the network issues in the past several months. I'm very happy with them.
