[Resolved] KaZaA to c/net – Following the trail

UPDATE: 8/24/01 This issue originally reported and documented on 8/23/01 has been fixed. My thanks to CNET and Mr. Arpajian for the swift responce and resolution. THe Kazaa download link know leads to another screen and requires the user to click another link to read about this application before they can download it.

A visitor navigates to http://www.kazaa.com/index.php?page=download
Screen below:

Then they click the English version download link.

And they see the following screen:

THey still can't download the application untill they click the other link and this new page has warnings and such.

Steve, I tried to reply to your message but I got an error saying you wqere not accepting messages through the private board, (or something to that effect).

Anyway, we have the perl version fix for the Ezula killer and Surf+ killer but we haven't had time to fully test it. Our preliminary tests show it to be working VERY well but we hadn't planned on actually releasing it until tomorrow. But I'm confident enough in the script and I trust you to let me know of any glitches so I don't have a problem with getting the script for your server a little early. Just let me know how to get it to you.
