Post New CPA program from Standard Internet Corp.

After a short beta test (and some great feedback from GeekTalk members) our newest program is open.

ClickHereForCellPhones.com

Benefits for the webmaster:
-Commission is $37.00 for each free phone sold
-14 day cookie tracking
-No chargebacks or overturned commissions
-Real time stats
-Application form is simpler than buying a book from Amazon.com
-Advertise via e-mail, buttons, banners, popups, text links, etc.
-No ads, popups, or other "traffic leaks"
-No 800 number calls or other methods for you to lose customers
-Real live humans processing the applications to minimize errors and get the maximum number of applications approved for you
-The offer to your surfer is super! A far better deal than any other cell phone offer on the net today.

Benefits to the surfer:
-All phones are free, state-of-the-art, and brand new (no "refurbs" or old, outdated phones)
-The activation plans start at just $29.99 (most other companies require $49.99 or $59.99/month to qualify for the free phone)
-The activation contracts last just 12 mos. (most other companies require 24 to 36 mos.
-We ship the phone activated, charged, and at our expense.

There is a forum set up on SICtalk to answer any questions you may have.

Again, many thanks to the members of GeekTalk for their feedback and constructive critisism during the beta test.

It doesn't affect me since I'm in the US, but I'm just curious why referring pages must be written in English, and why there is a huge banned country list. I understand why these rules make sense for a CPC affiliate program, but not for a CPA program (unless the rules are to cut down on gibberish applications, which wastes your clerks' time?).

Heh - I would imagine that the cell phones probably don't work in foreign countries...

The offer is for USA residents only.

We are working on UK, AU, and Canada solutions.

Well, there's a bunch of foreign webmasters around here whose websites have predominantly US traffic. (They emphasized that point when they were complaining how many affiliate programs only allowed US webmasters.)

There can also be foreign language sites that target people living in the US. For example, imagine a community in the US that has a large proportion of Spanish speakers; a portal for that area could be in Spanish.

Like I said, this doesn't really concern me since I'm a US webmaster who only makes English websites, but the rules did seem strange to me.

This looks like an absolutely outstanding program, Robert. This could easily be one of the best CPA programs out there. I will definitely be joining soon.

I know I'll be doing a lot of research on cell phones tonight

Thank you very much. Thats quite a compliment.

We looked at what everyone else in the market was doing (including the cell phone merchants on CJ) and put together a program that (we feel) is better for the consumer and for the webmaster in every category (price, contract length, service, phones offered, etc).

We got into the cell phones as a way to monetize our own excess inventory after we had a great deal of success in a large ad campaign for cell phones.

Based on the volume that we were doing (about 300 applications/day) we were able to get very, very favorable terms.

Well, the terms doesn't say that an affiliate can't refer himself, friends, family members, etc...

I was a beta tester and have been running this program for just over a week. I have 5 applications pending and I will let you guys know how many of those 5 applications were converted to sales. So far this seems to be a really attractive program.

One thing that turns me off about the sales process of their site is that they require personal information to be entered before they will even show what their pricing plans are.

Agreed demae, I was checking it out myself, my cell contract is up next month, and it kept wanting info before it gave me any back and I just left the site. I don't mind giving useful info like my zip and area code, but I don't think my name and address are necessary to show me what plans are available in my area.

For Washington DC (other areas may vary), they offer:

$30/mo: 250 peak minutes, 1000 off-peak minutes
$40/mo: 400 peak minutes, 2000 off-peak minutes
$70/mo: 800 peak minutes, 2000 off-peak minutes
$100/mo: 1200 peak minutes, 2000 off-peak minutes

They provide a StarTac 7797 or ERICSSON 1228 (your choice) at no extra cost. All plans have $35 one-time activation fee. The last three plans include "free long distance".
