What the hell happened to the profanity filter? - geek/talk: Signature-free discourse for serious web publishers

I've noticed several posts in which mildly profane words have slipped by the filters that used to be set up. Just wondering if you're (steve/admins) taking words off the list, or taking the filter down altogether?
Or maybe it's just my imagination.

Hmmm...seems to be working to a limited extent.

The correct spelling of prOn makes it through, and does the term describing female puppies, but most of the nasties get caught in the net. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

Correct Professor Czar. Iv'e not made any changes to the filter. Subverting it remains a challenge http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

It's not that smart. If you have a specific post where something slipped through please point me to it and I will resolve the issue.
