Uh-oh. Mistake - never, never, I repeat NEVER install Wife 1.0 !!!!!

I just got to Girlfriend 8.0 and had to uninstall due to daily crashes. (almost had to wipe the whole dang HD!)

Well, I do have a tech note about dealing with Wife 1.0 (since you are now stuck with it), let me know if you need it.

Just remember that wives are not the only ones who do this kind of thing. The male model, known as Husband 1.0, is just as bad. He says nothing until I am in the middle of doing some research for a book I am writing or as soons as I start looking at the weblogs.

Well, Wife 1.0 has a number of known problems , most notably Pre MonthlyCheck Syndrome (commonly referred to as P.M.S.). I cured this problem by installing the latest model, Wife 2.0. She came complete with her own computer and all the accessories. Of course you can never get rid of version 1.0. Even a low level format doesn't remove it completely. But life is much better with 2.0

While we are on the subject, I am looking for a copy of GirlFriend 9.0. There are no new copies available, so I am sure I will have to find a used one, preferrably not too used, though.

So if you have an old copy laying around, let me know. Manuals not needed, I can install/anger/run-off this program just fine without them.

8.0 was such a mess, I am hoping 9.0 will work more seamlessly with my other systems and functions. I got a lot of GPFs (General Partnership Faults) with 8.0 while running Drunken Boys Night 3.0 and Sunday Football 5.0. CloseFriendWithShortSkirt 4.0 completely locked up the system. Any known problems with GirlFriend 9.0?

My two cents - Single.exe has a dull enough interface to warrant avoiding it completely. Stay away from it if you can.
