Hello members and visitors,

I have recently learned that someone ** may ** be manually exstracting your Email address from your Profile on this BB and then sending you what I consider "SPAM". The Email offer is to join a BB whoes focus has nothing to do with Webmasters. This is a violation of my TOS and I intend to have the site shut down if my suspisions are correct. I'm sorry but I can't tell you who this party is for legal reasons.

I can assure you that their is no way to automatically "harvest" your Email address from this BB. You can even turn off the display of your Email address via the "Profile" link.

If you have recently recieved this type of Email, please send me the header and complete Email. Please send this to abuse@geekvillage.com Please do not post this data on our BB.
