Red face A few words from InfoSpace

A quote from InfoSpace support about affiliates payment delay:

- - -

Dear Affiliate Partner,

We’re sorry for any delay that you may be experiencing with your affiliate payment.

During the operation of this program, InfoSpace has experienced a high level of fraudulent traffic. We don't want to
penalize our honest affiliates, but we need to perform an investigation to make sure we are paying for qualified traffic.

InfoSpace is working with Be Free to identify and separate the fraudulent affiliate activity. When the process is complete
we will be able to provide payment to Be Free so they can appropriately distribute compensation to our affiliates for their
qualified traffic.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and want to assure you that our goal is to resolve this issue
quickly.

The InfoSpace Affiliate Support Team.

Thanks!

Any ideas? I can not imagine these words to be 100% true to explain the things happening out there?

Well the delay is totaly unexceptable, but what can we do, if people didnt try cheating sponsors, maybe we would get paid on time http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

...contacted BeFree not two days ago and they said nothing about 'working with' them to solve this. They only said that they've been trying to contact Infospace for quite a while to get info on what the holdup is, and that is the only involvement Befree has with them...

I need to bring a suggestion of one of infospace ffiliate members to public:

- - -

My suggestion would be for everyone to contact Kristen Howell (khowell@infospace.com, 425-201-8821) on a daily basis until
this issue is resolved.
What do you think about a collection agency ? would that help ?

- - -

Personally, I must say that InfoSpace should take immediate actions to weed cheaters if there are, and to release payments to its current members at last. The situation now shows InfoSpace does nothing.

Their links are not tracking corretly and they are just sitting on it! Mailed them and got a reply that they are going to fix it but its been 2 months now. I would definitely stay away from them.

Infospace has a mile long list of class action suits against them. You could probably join in on one of those.
