There are several ways to find out the niche forums like google it would give you a bunch of useful lists, again searching on some other search engines would provide you a different list. Maybegeek has given a good solution that i have experienced myself and found worthy and useful.

The intitle:forum command should be useful. But there may be several forums which won't be in the results. In the end it's a bit boring task, but it's a matter of searching your main keywords and dive into the results, not just in the first two pages, but the first twenty.

You can easily find related forums by Google search engine. Just type your keyword like "Business forums","top business forums", "Business forum 2013" etc. and you will surely get what you want.

You can use advanced google search to the exact results which you are looking for. You may also use the following term to get the related forums.

your keyword inurl:forum

Use the category name and forum name, this should work or try with the category name itself.

I think that you just use the keyword you are looking for and add ‘forum’ that should get you a pretty good idea of what is out there. I do not think that this is one of those things that should take you that long before you have a decent understanding of what you are going to find.
