Default which pages google has indexed in my site

Hey everyone:

What do I type into google to get it to display every page that it has indexed for a particular domain?

I know I have seen this here at GV before, but I quickly searched the forums and came up empty handed.

Thanks,
Jesse

Hey Jesse,

There might be a better way to do this, but this is what I use.

Quote from Google's web site:
Quote:
The word "site" followed by a colon enables you to restrict your search to a specific site. To do this, use the site:sampledomain.com syntax in the Google search box.
So if you search for a word you know appears on every page in your site (like 'copyright' for instance) then Google should return all the pages indexed from your site.

Thanks Rhea.

I had tried that already... but I can't seem to come up with a word that appears on every page. The words copyright, home, etc. are all links on the site and Google doesn't seem to see those when I search for them. Google will not let me try that method with something very common like the word "a" either.

Any other ideas?

Try searching for this in Google:

Quote:
www.yoursite.com+site:www.yoursite.com
I'm not sure this shows all pages indexed. Maybe someone who knows for certain will reply.

And I found this which I believe was shown to me by Steve S.

The following will also work and show more in many cases. It works when you have a word or phrase which appears on all your pages and is a slight tweak to what you guys already have.

See and sub in your own via a search in G for:
