Last time this program was working it paid $0.15 and lasted about week. I'd watch it.

Hello all! I am a first time poster, though I have been visiting geek/talk for a while. As you can see I do work at WayAds. Parplex it is true we pay 6 cents a search for our Text Link program and 4 cents for our Search Bar program. We were up in the beginning of the year, but had to temporarilly shut down in order to create a better program/website. At that time we paid all non-cheating affiliates who earned a minimum of $5. We then took 2 months to completely redo our programs and website. We are back for the long haul now. You are all welcome to check out the new site at www.wayads.com.
If you have any more questions feel free to email me: jason@wayads.com

Welcome to Geek/Talk, Jason. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

Looks like it's time to re-evaluate the program...

Their program can be re-evaluated, but can their reputation ?

I mean there are so many rumors around...what about this thread.

Is this just some wild rumor Jason ?

It was just a rumor, we never created an emulator script. We did pay all of our affiliates, that were not cheaters. In fact for February we lowered the minimum payment to $5. We are trying to build a long lasting business, and we understand that to succeed over a long period of time we must treat both our affiliates and advertisers fairly. We are not trying to make a "quick buck." Nor are we here to cheat anyone along the way.
I encourage you to let WayAds prove ourselves.

For those interested, here are their TAC.

Maybe a link on the main part of the website would be easier. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

I know nothing about Wayads, but charging them with running an emulator is a bit hard to believe. Anyone can make you look bad by using one on your site and it is very difficult to prove who is responsible.

Besides, any half decent fraud detector should find this quickly, especially for megaclicks. It would be amazingly stupid for a real business to do this.

The sign up has a pull down menu which contains all the countries allowed.

Edit: but robot saw that just before I saw he saw it.

We still count click-throughs to the advertisers page, a second click model.
