Question ConnectedExec.com?

Anyone heard of ConnectedExec.com?

I recently received a message from them offering to pay 0.20 to 0.30 cpc.

Message below:
We've had a sudden surge in new advertising clients and as a result our company needs to find new sources of advertising traffic fast. Our clients are willing to pay you 20 to 30 cents a clickthrough depending on the amount of traffic you can supply. The more traffic you send the more you can make. Please stop by our website today to find out the details. Any and all sites from each and every country are welcome.

Can't find anything on them at Altavista or Google. I wonder if they are for real?

this is a click-thru program.. not CPC

from the horses mouth.. IE, their terms and conditions..

Valid Clicks. A clickthrough is considered valid if a browser or consumer fills out all four fields with valid information, clicks the submit button and has a genuine interest in the offer. We review the information in each field as well as confirm the browser's interest for 100% of the clickthroughs through both email and the phone. Any clickthroughs determined to have invalid or incorrect information as well as submissions by browsers who are later determined not to have a valid interest will be deducted from your total before payment. Furthermore Connected Exec has determined that seventy five percent of all clickthroughs confirm their interest by email or phone. If your numbers drop below this seventy five percent the system will automatically stop counting new clicks until the seventy five percent level is achieved once again.

Thanks ezclan. I don't think I like the sounds of that 75% confirmation rate. I really don't think that is realistic.

It seems more like a CPA program than a pay-per-click program. Those terms that ezclan found sound pretty horrible (75% of people have to re-confirm their interest or ConnectedExec stops paying..ouch.)

Thumbs down

That condition is very troubling indeed. Very few (if any) lead-based programs convert at 75%. You don't ned to go any further than to ask members of Focalex, NetEzines and the like about that.

And confirming every lead by phone? Not only is that an undue expenditure of money on ConnectedExec's behalf, but it's likely to scare away a few leads, IMHO.

In short, the low 20-30 cent fee does not justify this level of scrutiny, and given the 75% threshold, most sites are unlikely to see payment in any case.
