Internet Poll - geek/talk: Web publishing business discussion

Can anybody please help me with creating a poll. I would like to put a poll on my site, but not the ones you get with sites like freepolls.com, for example.
I wanted a poll that, when my users click vote, it would reload the page, and cast the results at the place the poll was loacted before.
One of the websites that has the type of polls I am talking is http://www.wrestleline.com/ (the poll is at the bottom, right).
Another website is http://www.ign.com/ (scroll down and you should see it).
(Notice, another good thing about these polls is that the visitor cannot vote twice even if they hit the back button.)
So can anybody please tell me how to create these polls for my website? Thank you in advance.

Try Poll it 2.05 from http://www.cgi-world.com . If you can access and run cgi's on your host, and know a little about setting it all up, it goes pretty easy. I just put it up this morning on http://www.mysecretlaboratory.com so you can check out what it does. I have done no customizing to it yet, but will be soon.
