Cool My best'n'worst programs, October summarized...

October results are mostly in, so I thought I'd share the programs that are working for me.

My Best earning programs to date (not all started at the same time) based on cumulative total earnings
1. Advertisers
2. Amazon
3. beyond
4. Web Sponsors
5. Clicktrade
6. One and only
7. Virtualis
8. JohnsonLane
9. ClickBank
10. Commission Junction

My best earning programs in October
1. Advertisers
2. Web Sponsors
3. Amazon
4. Beyond
5. Virtualis
6. Clicktrade
7. JohnsonLane
8. Commission Junction
9. ClickBank
10. Web Position

-- can't tell, but active
Mailbits, JFAX

My big success of October is increases in Advertising revenue (this includes pay-per-performance) and Virtualis

My big mistake was to not do JohnsonLane for the whole month as I tried a competitors worse program.

My open "issues":

1. I don't see any results for offerid 260 in Web sponsors (experian). Been sending about 20 targetted uniques per day since mid October. Does anybody know if the results for this offer are in? (i know websponsors tends to update financial offers even more slowly than the other ones).

2. I want to start Clicktrade advertising - see other thread - please comment!

3. I've been playing with Jokes4u, NetEzines & Allclicks, but haven't really got going with these. I also joined Focalex, but haven't got around to doing anything at all with it.

4. Realization of the month: I've been testing banner exchange ads versus Tekno. My banner exchange campaign has been about 20X as successful as my Tekno banners. Part of this is probably my stupidity in bad placement of banners, but I've come to realise that I don't know anything about CPC ads. I do know how to make a success of leads/sales programs so I am going to further specialize in that direction.

Cool

Useful report, how are you getting the Amazon sales/traffic?

Just curious because the only way I can get sales is by posting book links on my sites and I get very poor CTRs. I tried going for search engine traffic but there are just so many amazon associates, the engines we're over-saturated. Do you have domains dedicated to amazon?

Here are my top performers:

1. Ask Jeeves
2. Goto
3. AllClicks
4. Clicktrade
5. Amazon/CDNow/Kwikmed/etc, small sales on lots of little programs

Cool

Individual product links, lots of them. Text describing the books, comments on the books, etc. Send hundreds and hundreds of clicks per week.

I just installed maxcomm too, but haven't had any stats since I did...I am hoping to replace maxcomm with my own version of the max comm script.

I am lucky as occassionally some people come to my site to buy like a few k of books at a time, probably for a school or a big company i'm guessing, as Amazon don't tell you.

Wink

Best--for October
With these, I made it into the $1K+ per-month-club!
1. TeknoSurf
2. Amazon
3. MailBits
3. AskJeeves
4. ClickTrade
5. About.com

Worst--for October
1. LinkShare--imo, there is something seriously wrong with their tracking...no matter, I've de-activated my account with them.

This month I've added a couple of advrts. from WebSponsors and CJ, plus the AOL affiliate program.
