Default Another good reason to use e-mail

E-mail is a very good bargain in many situations. Some might want to find even more opportunities to use it considering what the United States Postal Service is reported to be considering. There might be another postage increase, and it could be a large one. The story is below.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- It may soon cost more to mail a letter.

A published report says the U.S. Postal Service is expected to seek approval for an increase in postage rates of at least ten percent early next year.

The Wall Street Journal says the rise would push the price of a first-class stamp to at least 41 cents.

First-class stamps have jumped 12 percent since early 2001. The last increase of three cents to the current 37 cents came in 2002.

The Journal says the expected new rate increase stems partly from the failure of proposed legislation that would have allowed the post office to take advantage of pension-fund savings.

I think it's really bad news for an ecommerce platform site.

Wow. I was about to get involved with direct mail
too. I will try to experiment with direct mail very
soon but email seems to be the best bet right now.

If you're having difficulty receiving mail forwarded from your Yahoo! Mail account, there are a few things you should check.
Ensure that you've entered the correct address in the "Forward incoming Yahoo! Mail messages to a different email address" field. To access this field, click "Mail Options" in the upper right-hand area of the page. Then click the "POP Access & Forwarding" link under the "Management" column.

Email marketing isn't something marketers do just because they can and it's easy. The tactic is very effective at helping business owners and consumers stay connected. In fact, consumers often seek out email marketing campaigns from their favorite brands and local stores.

1. Email is an easy way to reach mobile customers.
2. It's an effective way to keep customers informed.
3. Email coupons drive online and in-store sales.
4. It's easy to customize and integrate into other marketing tactics.
5. Email marketing is inexpensive.
