Unhappy Best bottom of page banner network/ad revenue

What are some options and estimated revenue for bottom of page banners?
Valueclick or a CPC network or pay per click or lead affiliate programs are all options but what is best.

And in relation to banners on the top of pages what clickthru rate do bottom banners get?
I have read that top and bottom combo banners get 30 percent more clicks than top ones only so is 30 percent of the clicks that a top banner gets a good estimate for what a bottom of page banner will get?

Anyone have any experience with bottom of page banners if so what CPM can one expect, 0.10, 0.25 or what approximately?

I was kind of wondering this too.

I think you might have just broken a board rule though by "pushing" this topic to the top.

Anyway, does anyone know of any companies like this or something?

It seems a relevant question this board has never really addressed though.
If one can get say possibly 30 percent more ad revenue having top and bottom placed banners then it seems something to explore.

I don't use bottom banners on any of my sites right now (I think ;-) but for general audience / entertainment sites I think the PPC "alertbox" casino programs CJ (Club Regal, etc) would perform better than most other programs out there would.

That is if you think promoting online casinos is an acceptable thing to do :-)

Also, you can't really count on them for the long run, since unless you're sending productive traffic you'll probably get dropped after a while.

I hate casino ads. :/

My site is targetted towards teens, so it's kind of illegal to have teens gamble.

And, isn't online gambling illegal in California?

There's a program being run through CJ called No Nonsense. It's a free game available and pays $0.15 / download. I've heard good things about it and it might work well with your audience.

Good Luck! http://geekvillage.com/ubb/wink.gif

I think you mean Nonsense 2000 :-)

I'm getting an amazing conversion ratio with them.

If only their commission was a _little_ higher, they'd be Perfect for me :-)

The FAQ's at the nonsense2000.com site may contain some objectionable language for a teen site.
