Default Using cookies to hide part of a page

Hi,

I have an online store on all but my main page, featuring some products, on the right-hand side. (check it out: http://www.pinkfloydfan.net/tour.php)

The store is actually a table cell. I have the option to hide the store. Until now, when the user clicked on "hide the store, he" would access the same page he was in, with the argument &NoPinkFloydStore=true, for instance: http://www.pinkfloydfan.net/tour.php...loydStore=TRUE

So, in the header of every page, I had this:
<?php
if ($NoPinkFloydStore == TRUE) {
setcookie("PinkFloydFan", "NoStore", time()+7200,"/","pinkfloydfan.net");
$PinkFloydFan = NoStore;
**
?>

That is, whenever that argument was passed, I would set a 2-hour cookie. Then, before the server parsed the store, it checked if the cookie was set. If it was, the server didn't parse the store. If it wasn't set, the store was shown.

The problem is, I'm using some other php scripts on my page, such as phpBB and ssLinks. Whenever a user is in a page that has already passed some arguments, for instance http://www.pinkfloydfan.net/forums/v...79&forum=2&10, the added NoPinkFloydStore would give me an error.

So, here's the deal: is there any way to fix this, or do you suggest any easier way to hide the store?

Thanks a lot,
Paulo
