Question trouble aligning side-by-side

My test page is at http://frontier.dreamhost.com/table.htm

I don't know how to get "Diana" and the Search Box to be side-by-side (inside 2nd level). I would also like them to be spaced about ten pixels apart.

I would be most appreciative of any help...thanks alot.

The way I would do it (with tables and a transparent gif):

<TD VALIGN=TOP>First Item</TD>
<TD><IMG SRC="transparent.gif" WIDTH=10 HEIGHT=1></TD>
<TD VALIGN=TOP>Second Item</TD>
