It has potential all right, but I see the potential being to annoy visitors or give cheaters another method to try to **** money from honest affiliates.

Hopefully, visitors wont be stupid enough to return to sites that does that.
I myself, will use this very modestly - but it's definety superior to an ordinary popup. |

Has anyone thought of using this technique along with an AllClicks link?
One could open a popup window that looks like a normal windows alert window, that when clicked, causes the page that spawned it to go to AllClicks, and closes itself. (Would they allow this?) |

I've been using it with CJ banners for a few weeks now. I even made a post here about it.
Anyway, I can say it works very very well. |

The first condition can be satisfied by making sure the popup gets rid of all but one window when clicked. The second condition is more iffy. The hit *is* a product of a surfer clicking the link to Allclicks.com. At the same time, the surfer may be pretty much forced to click on that link, since it is a frameless popup without the normal "X" button to close it. Then again, AllClicks does take traffic from users who were directed there against their will. Can anyone shed some more light on this (no unjustified responses please)? |

This will be forcing the visitor to click on the link, since no other option/opt-out choice is given. True, AllClicks accepts blind traffic, but that's at the visitor's choice/will to either click on the blind link, or move onto other content/sites.
- AllClicks will not allow this. ------------------ zMan [This message has been edited by zMan (edited 05-26-2001).] |

I need some help... http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif
Can anyone here who knows this tell me how to do it. I want to use the above mentioned Frameless Pop-up script is a different way. I want to use it as an EXIT CONSOLE. Ex: I want this frameless pop-up to Load Automatically when someone leaves my site. Currently this script works when someone clicks on a Text link (I think) and I am sure there is an easy way to change it to work the way I want, but I just can't get it... I tried! http://geekvillage.com/ubb/frown.gif Thanks for your help in advance. ------------------ zMan |

It works. I just had to change <body onUnload="popFrameless()"> to <body onUnload="openFrameless()">
