Default Ad.com using Doubleclick for Defaults?

I was just looking at some sites with ad.com banners and noticed something out of the ordinary, it was not another CPA ad, but it was a Doubleclick Ad. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a user specified default because I've seen the same Wells Fargo Doubleclick ad on several sites that normally only have Ad.com banners. Anyone else notice this?

Wells Fargo is most likely using DART as their third-party ad-server. If that is the case, regardless of the site or network on which you see their ads, they will be served by Doubleclick DART.

Remember, Doubleclick isn't in the media business any longer. They are exclusively a technology company, selling their ad-serving capabilities to publishers and advertisers.

Default Welcome to the board!

Welcome to Geek/Talk, Bob!

As a member, I also see lots of these sorts of "third-party serves" campaigns in BurstMedia!. And you could name other ones on the list, Bluestreak, Altas DMT and etc..

Oh of course. Sorry 'bout that.

+ AdProject
+ NexAds
+ Ad Syndicate
+ RevenuePilot
+ 1stAdClick
+ FindIt-Quick
+ many others that I can't remember off the top of my head right now.

Unfortunately, we don't have an official compilation of this data, so those who have been excluded from the list above will have to forgive me for my forgetfulness.
