Question Auto Listing Site For Sale?

I developer an auto listing service a few months back and to this point have been unsuccessful in marketing it. I think this is due to my own lack of marketing abilities and not really due to any lack of market need for this site nor is it due to a poor site design (you can be the judge of that). However, at this point I am interested in cutting my losses and moving on to new projects. As such, I would like to sell the old site.

I am listing the site here as if it were for sale (and hey, if someone offers me the $$ it IS for sale), but my real goal is to gather an idea of what y'all think it is worth. I have been here for a few months now, so I know I am going to get flamed a little, but please keep that to a minimum.

Name: Aaron Freeman

URL: www.DigiDealership.com

Age of site: 3 months

Stats: 0 users daily (We get a few random users, but basically we will say it is 0).

Asking price: Ugh, that awful question. I am asking $3000. See the rest of the description for the reasoning.

Who develops the content?
You and your users.

Will you help with the transition of the site to the new owner?

Reason for selling: Am unable to market this site successfully.

Send questions to email in my profile.

Net revenue: $0 currently

Okay, I know that in todays world POTENTIAL means nothing. I can accept that. However, this is NOT one of those underdeveloper sites with a little bit of content where I'm asking for $3000 just because it MIGHT one day be a great site. This site is a FULLY FUNCTIONAL e-commerce site that has user registrations, working forums, active listings acceptor/searching and more. This is completely database driven and is highly toned. We have a working partnership with StoneAge.com to show their listings on the site (about 50,000 listings currently), so that when surfers do find the site it is not empty and they can feel better about listing there. We have recently reduced the price to $0 per listing in an effort to increase traffic, but the goal was to have it set at $5 per listing. Other auto listing services charge $20 or more. With over 1,000,000 cars listed online, the potential is there, you just need to be able to market it.

If anyone has a lower offer or any suggestions, I am all ears.
