I use bluehost as well. They have had good customer service and haven't noticed much latency. Good pricing too.

Bluehost is not bad, but you don't have root access. But for basic sites, it works well and has a ton of addons.

I think that bluehost hostmonstor 1and1 and godaddy are all the biggest and probably the best, assuming that you can get some customer service when needed. I have had really good luck with godaddy, but their servers do have their days.

If your going to use a self hosted wordpress blog. Bluehost is pretty good. You just hit a button and it sets it up for you.

I was with Bluehost who were great, but I recently moved to Hosting Zoom and I'm qutie disappointed. Quite frequent downtime and support can be a bit slow.

I do not actually know which host is the best, as well as which is the worst however.. But I know that such companies as papahost|dot|info should be avoided.

I have never had bad experience, however it's most likely because Ihave lack of experience at all. However, I know serverpoint.com is the company that could be considered as the one of the best.

i have been with a few hosts, glowhost i found had really good customer service, i was put on a crappy shared server which did go down a few times which frustrated my but support was always really good, then i upgraded my account and changed servers and my site runs perfectly, nice and fast.

A lot of people I know don't like 1&1 because their customer service has fouled up with a lot of issues regarding domain transfers.
