I see. Yeah, I noticed that on some really large sites, where it is information-packed, there is not a very good navigation system system because there is too much stuff to organize. Or maybe they just didn't find the right way to organize it all.

But anyway, it ends up being where I navigate the site through the content, by following links to related topics. It works, but it still makes it harder to find exactly what I am looking for.

Everyone has a different idea of what makes a good website.

Ultimately, its the customer that decides what makes they comfortable with a particular website. Look and design are important, but having something that no else has will play a more important role.

You're absolutely right. Designers (and their clients) are often too close to a website to see its weaknesses. As such, it's sometimes a good idea to have a third party evaluate the website (particularly in terms of ease of navigation, usability, purpose and conversion capturing) before taking the site live. Often, third parties can see glaringly obvious weaknesses that designers and developers cannot, simply because they're somewhat removed from the actual building process.

That's a good and awesome list, i myself have been checking for usability, seo, design, security, i also check for interactivity of web pages, response time, and distribution of the elements, and optimization or web page (code optimization, javascript compression, css compression, etc.).
