Lightbulb If you could improve just one thing..

A tough but important marketing question for business website owners, especially publishers:

"If you could spend however much you like on improving just one aspect of your website's performance, what would you choose to do?"

Find a source for CPM banners, etc that ONLY provides non-junk ads by default from reputable companies (no smilies, no flashing animations, etc), and aggregates payment like CJ.

We can't fill our inventory because it takes too long to filter out the junk from Fastclick, Burst, etc. No time to review each creative.

Good question, Peter!

Decisions, decisions...

If I had unlimited resources to focus on just one area, it would be in building the website's brand to the point at which it becomes a household name. If resources were just a little more limited, enhancing search positioning would be my first choice.

Great stuff and very useful. If there is anything more you can tell me about the issues surrounding CPM banners etc, drawbacks I would find it very useful.

Great forum, this. Congratualtions!
