Cool economic failure on y2k, be the first to know

Here is a website which checks the top 500 website domains on y2k or whenever you want to check them. it is argued that if over 5% are unreachable then the world is having a y2k induced economic meltdown.

by running it at this very moment it appears that germany are the only people who can keep decent sites running.

Your topic is "economic failure" but you speak of websites up and running??? I'm not sure that a percentage of websites down in itself is a sign of global economic failure?

In any event, I'm moving this to the small business forum. If folks would like to report Y2K issues, or pending doom, they can add to this post at the small business forum.
