Default What are the most important aspects of keeping customers happy?

Hi I work for a web hosting company and Iím doing some research about what web hosts think are the most important aspects of keeping their customers happy. Also any feedback from consumerís about what web hosts can be doing to make them happier will contribute greatly to my research. Any Ideas?

Welcome to geek/talk

Let me try and keep this short. Human relation skills is right at the top of the list.

I see tons of folks trying to be a host (or for that matter a merchant/affiliate program) who really don't have any idea of how to be polite, simplify things, be patient, take harsh comments, and such in an effective and business like manor. They often react in an innapropriate manor.

Given the "barrier of entry" into the hosting business which one could say is next to nill (no offence intended as I do some private hosting for clients), this single factor alone accounts for the demise of many many hosts.

Saying this another way, reasonably priced hosting + great features + fast service + all the technicall "root talk" = just part of the equation.

HTH
