Unhappy CH2S main page

I got an idea for the main page of ClickHere2Surf.com. Would it be better if http://www.clickhere2surf.com redirected to my new welcome page: http://www.clickhere2surf.com/welcome.asp
ONLY if CH2S loads with no affiliate ID (not from a member's blind link or popup) and then they can choose to sign up, login or enter the main page, they can also check "Don't ask me again" to make http://www.clickhere2surf.com automatically open the section they chose (sign up, login, main).

Note: welcome.asp hasn't been programmed yet so nothing will happen if you submit the form

Do you think this is a good idea?

Thanks

Listen dude.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that I am sick of your spamming on this message board for your site. This is a making money forum not a "visit my site so I can get hits and make money" forum.

So, if you want advice on your website, put it in a more appropriate forum.

Sorry, this should be in the Webmaster Issues forum.

BTW, my site is for webmasters to make money so it's still in the right forum, but this post would be better placed in Webmaster Issues

Lighten up, he's just wanting help. I think you might think about getting another domain for webmasters and the 1 to make money off of. This would make it better to me.

If anything, you speak for me also. Webmaster traffic to a site with a whole bunch of commission junction links is useless and just eats bandwith, no one here is really going to make a search off of the site nor click a gambling banner.

gethosted, it sounds like your talking about my old design, did you see the new one, I got only positive comments about this new design: http://www.clickhere2surf.com/?aid=webmaster
[admin: an Affiliate ID is required for the main page to appear, this is my (CH2S's webmaster) ID so no one is getting paid]

Also, the site is making enough money to pay all affiliates and possibly increase the pay rates later.

It's a great improvement over your previous design. More professional looking. Makes me want to sign-up now http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif Only thing i dont like is the buttons.

What I meant was I agree that you are constantly posting the links to your portal site, which you normally pay to get traffic to. As for your layout, I must agree, you now have variety, goclick now sits in there too http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif.

On a more serious note, the thing I noticed detrimental to your site was not only that you popped a window on entrance and exit, but that all the buttons and banners you have sparkle and move. That animation is meant to draw the eye, and therefor should be limited or the effect is severely decreased, and you just want to hit the back button to get out of this place that really looks like Vegas, and has the gambling ads to boot http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif.

Also, in your "pop unders" will that little popup still, well, pop? In that case it's no longer only a popunder, but rather also a popup, not to mention the exit console.

Although, I must commend you, the design is much more organized, and less haphazard, although the way it is set up, any webmaster could go to CJ and set up accounts at all the same places you are and effectively make the same thing, and most likely make a little more than 1 cent a click.

The ASP code on the main page automatically removes the popup script if the page is being loaded as a pop-under so no other popups appear in front of your page when you use pop-unders.

That ASP is dumb. Nobody will take the time to click no, let me enter. They will all leave.

PWR_Paul_Banker, the welcome page only appears if you go directly to www.clickhere2surf.com .

If it was a blind link like this one: http://www.clickhere2surf.com/?aid=t...a_fake_account
It goes directly to the main page.

Hey have you ever thought of adding an option to make your site your homepage and pay the webmasters to use it as a homepage as an option?
