HTML and CSS is simple to learn..you have no need to take coaching classes..
there is many websites which are providing simple basics classes to learn HTML and CSS for beginners..

This thread was created in 2008 so you will not get a response from the OP because by now they have probably learnt all coding from HTML to Perl and MySQL

If you want to really learn real web developing you must master or understand html and css. And for dynamic websites, learn server side scripting language like php, asp, and jsp. learn client side scripting language too like javascript

As suggested there is w3school but try YouTube as well. There are so many video tutorials. I personally find it easier to learn watching videos.

You have to devote at lest 2 hours daily to learn HTML and CSS. For practice use note pad and Dreamweaver or the editor of W3C School.

http://www.w3schools.com it is the best website to learn HTML,CSS,PHP and many more.

Its very great idea to learn HTML and CSS. As both the technology is used every where for designing purpose and very easy to learn. As html is very flexible and userfriendly and almost supported by every browser.And also an open technology. And CSS helps to load page faster,Easy Maintainance,and also save time.
