Just keep on submiting it. If it takes 5 times than submit it 5 times. It took me about 3 times to get accepted.

There is a minimum traffic requirement. because you are a domain anme site that looks nice, and doesnt have any questionable content, this was probably the reason.

Cool Teknosurf criteria?

I was just rejected from Teknosurf. I looked at some of the sites that are using Teknosurf and feel that ours was acceptable.

I looked throughout their site and couldn't find any criteria for membership, save for the no porn, warez, etc.

Does anyone know what type of sites they typically accept?

If you don't mind, please look at mine and let me know if it seems like Teknosurf material. We definitely get the traffic.

Thanks

w3nation,

If you believe your traffic was high enough, I should mention that they also have occasionally rejected sites based on the demographic your site targets. It is possible that at the time you applied, they simply had too many sites in the network that were web development oriented, and didn't have enough banners pre-sold to accept more.

As KHN mentioned, you can try re-applying and hope their situation changes.

Tekno is really B-A-D. WHY? They have NOT ENOUGH inventory/advertisers for their existing members. They really having problems selling their ads. They have been busy maintaining their existing members ads and they really can't accept more new member as they can't accomodate it.

So, maybe this is what happened to w3nation! 3 of friends submitted over 5 times of application, at the end, ALL get rejected. What we can say is that if you apply now 80% you will be rejected!

um...it is so strange for a people to submit over 1 time to get accepted by Teknosurf.

Are they accepted by a Random Number Seed?

I am running a large Celebrities website with 3 millions pageview monthly and get rejected by Teknosurf after my 3 attempts.

May be I have to try 1 or 2 times more!

Although I don't have access to info regarding how over or undersold they are for ads, I can say that they are selective by choice. John Ferber clearly stated that they reject about 80-90% of sites by design. There is a very logical reason for this on their behalf, and it is the same reason other networks use: In order to attract higher paying advertisers TeknoSurf needs to show them good results. To show them good results they are selective in what sites they allow to join...
