Question FineClicks? Chet?

Any word on fineclicks lately? I signed up as a merchant to start my affiliate program with them. Completed the whole process of setting everything up and submitted my offer. Even submitted a support request. No word yet.

If I remember correctly there used to be someone named Chet that used to hang out on these forums back in 1999 or so that is/was the owner/operator of fineclicks.

Does anyone know if they're actually worth pursuing these days? If not, which affiliate network would be good and affordable to start an affiliate program with?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, Fahd.

Chet is a Geek/Talk member. He doesn't post as much as he once did. However he is no longer the owner of FineClicks.

For the past several years FineClicks has been owned by Brian Littleton of Shareasale. He is also a Geek/Talk member.

A lot of merchants are very pleased with Shareasale and it would be a good one to look into. http://www.shareasale.com

That's right.

As far as I'm aware, FineClicks is much less active today than in years gone by. I've been an affiliate and merchant with both networks for some time, but haven't heard anything from FineClicks in years.

ShareASale, by contrast, has grown its profile dramatically since the ownership of FineClicks changed hands. They'd certainly be the better choice for most merchants looking for volume.

I thought fineclicks died years ago? I know it is a few years since I removed their code.

Don't know...their website is still fully functional. I still see merchants linking to their affiliate programs on fineclicks.

PS: Forumspark seems to be down http://www.freesitestatus.com/quickt...d=57188&r=8601

I receive email from FineClicks possibly 4 or 5 times a year about changes in certain programs or possibly a new offer.

I haven't received anything, unless it went to junk.

They were good years ago, so hopefully they are now also I don't think I'll be putting them to the test though

Haha...today I got an email from them! (After I'd launched with clixgalore.)

I just received an e-mail from FineClicks. The subject was "FineClicks New Offers."

This one pays per lead. It is "Win a Digital Camera and Printer."

I am not sure how often I hear from FineClicks. It isn't a lot but it is probably more than the 4 or 5 times that I guessed.

This FineClicks email caught my attention since we had been talking about FineClicks in this thread.

Same here. Good timing. Interestingly enough, though, that one was picked up as "Junk Mail" by Outlook and I noticed it only because I was more aware of the brand this week, so it's possible that their update emails are often overlooked by Outlook users.

I am an affiliate that has been working with ShareASale since I practically started affiliate marketing and have earned a nice little sum with them. I feel that they are a great network and personally I have not had to contact them once for anything as I have never had any issues.

They have always paid me every month on time, every time.

This is a great network where you never hardly see it mentioned for bad experiences, but you always see it mentioned for good experiences both from the publisher and advertisers that use it.
