Default Looking for a free sub domain

As if you hadn't expected this.

I did find some but to know reliability it sometimes best to ask around. Domaindlx is what I want but it is often down, and has popups, tons of popups. Basically what I'm searching for is mediocre or better bandwidth allowed and only one banner(or block/row of ads) put on your 'site' preferably on the top. If there is a second banner(or block/row of ads) at the bottom I'm cool with that.

Basically:
> realiable uptime
> decent/accual support
> decent bandwidth
> rememberable main site domain

ooo Fancy, but I'm not quite sure it allows a large enough site... I love the password thing though! If only I know how to add it to my album site. Awesome site though, thank you for the link!

http://freedns.afraid.org/ offers free subdomains with dns management. They don't offer hosting, though.

Why not just buy a domain? They are only 6 or 7 bucks these days.

I want to make sure that what I have planned is worth the effort to figure out a domain and find hosting.

I would suggest that now a day there are various hosting companies that offers such a great featured domains in low cost , so i think you should go with domains.
