excuse me, but not everyone here has had mp3 sites. "You guys" should be more along the lines of "a Few guys" or something. I don't even listen to mp3's, and have never downloaded them. And the debate here isn't about mp3 copywrite issues.

Even if there aren't copywrite infringement laws, it's like burger king replacing the menu at McD's with prices on the whopper, etc. And since McD's can't stop BurgerKing from doing it, McD's loses half it's business. Sure McD's may have a few prices on the windows that burgerking hasn't figured out a way to cover. But the damage has been done. Of course the person would have to drive down the street to get to BK. But on the internet, it's just a click away. BK could basically put a cash register in McD's and let BK do all the work,

It's a dirty business technique, and it shows just how desperate people are for money. The technology could be used to help webmasters instead of stealing from them. How about a program that puts your affiliate links in? Or how about the same kind of program as an affiliate program. They add paying links on your website in places you don't have them. Have a meta tag on the site(such as MS) on pages you don't want it to add. The webmaster gets a %, and everyone is happy. Extra cash for the webmasters, wouldn't you sign up? But they don't have to pay the webmasters so they aren't.

I actually never downloaded TopText, but I am just wondering whether there is a possibility to choose the topics I am interested in receiving additional information.

According to the above Quote I ask myself if it is acceptable for a 14-year old to view ads about 'loans' for example and therefore I'd like to know whether there is a possibility for the user to block advertisments that would violate existing laws. ( loans for a minor are a No-No ).

The Idea behind this would be to force companies like Ezula to modify their existing software in a way that an update is necessary and making it necessary for them to update a lot of 'infected computers'. And if there is a Question whether the user wants to upgrade, chances are quite good that the number of "infected computers" will decrease.

This update or new download may occur automatically or through other means
Anyone got an idea whether that be legal?
