Unhappy Not updating site because of Euro 2000

Maybe a little off topic...

Do any of you fellow geeks here take your time off to do something else besides updating your site?

I have not work on my site for weeks because I am glued to the tv!

I'm definetly not making money durig euro2000!

Actually,I'm spending a lot, it is costing me a fortuneto buy all those beers. Let's hope Holland beats French tomorrow!!
(I just bought me tickets for the quarter finals in Rotterdam. Holland is playing there if they, uhhhh we, beat France.)

Cool

I hope they won't close this thread because we are taling about soccer. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'm sorry diederik but Italy will beat both France and Holland. I love Davids (i am a fan of Juventus) but the best is Alex Del Piero.

I have just updated one of my site talking about yesterday's match.

Some of you may find it interesting to know that Euro2000.com has just won a lawsuit in France which was started by UEFA. Le Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris agreed last Tuesday that Euro2000.com could rightfully use its name. This is the first time that the owner of an internet domain name has won a case of this kind.

Euro2004.com is registered by a Serbian company/organization according to Whois.Net. Euro2000.com is owned by the Amsterdam based "European Unique Resource".

Euro 2000 is the 2nd largest sporting event after the World Cup and Olympics.

It is a football ( or soccer as Americans like to called it ) tornament between european nations.

Hope this clear things up a bit.
