The service gives away free and ad-less URL redirection (name.shim.net). In the past year or so, I haven't added any new websites so the traffic to member websites has decreased a lot. I personally approve every member that signs up through the admin function of the script. After that, the person has to activate their account. Activation after approval seems to be around 25% give or take. There are currently 2570 accounts.

Is the script unique? Are you using cPanel to create the subdomains?
