When I had the Dark Zoo Museum Of The Unknown site up on line..I got a few lame E mails..the best was from a guy who was 'facinated' by the exhibits and asked the question...
"Are the mummies alive?"

stupidest question:
1. Dear Katharena,
Will you zip up your whole site and make it available as a single download? If not, will you just send me the whole site via e-mail in text format, plus all graphics and music? Oh, and it would be helpful if you would translate the whole site into spanish, but this is not necessary, yet.

ps. Will you marry me?

Sounds like you had some of the same visitors I've had. Zipping up the entire site for them. I had one ask if I could postal mail them a CD of my site and of course they wanted me to do this for free.

There really isn't anything anybody can do - except for Hotmail themselves.

The best thing to do is to get in touch with them:

When webmasters register they leave thier email address (of course) so that I can review their sites and then let them know if they are approved.

When they are approved an automated email goes out to them telling them that they are approved and gives further instructions on things like logging in, reading stats, etc...

Well what I get alot of is:
-UNSUBSCRIBE ME FROM YOUR SPAM LIST!
-WE DON'T WANT YOUR ADVERTISING EMAILS! TAKE US OFF YOUR LIST IMMEDIATELY OR I AM CALLING THE COPS!!!!!

It is pretty bad that spam has taken so much control over peoples minds that they forget about things like that...some people unsubscribe to a welcome email that welcomes to the program that they registered for http://geekvillage.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
