Unhappy frameless popup script + popup = fully loaded popup

Here's an idea of another use for that frameless popup script code that was posted here recently.

For popup programs that only pay for visitors who have fully loaded the popup, AND give you access to the JavaScript coding (e.g. allclicks.com's exit program, but not popuptraffic.com's popups), you can make the site load in a frameless popup.

Without the "X" button, most people would be unable to close the popup.

Then again, this could make some of your visitors very mad and never return to your site.

Unhappy

I think I am the person who posted about using it as a pop-up. Infact, I am doing it on one of my sites since last night, and well, the clicks on the links on the Popped site are up... But I did receive an e-mail saying "Please tell me how to minimise/close this pop-up as a matter of urgency". http://geekvillage.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Though, it works good and will increase the amount of visitors who click-thru on an exit console, wanting or unwantingly. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/wink.gif I am using it to pop one of my own site, not some sponsors site, though!

you could always put a close.window button on the popup page if its your own, or pop it into a dual frame set with a close button on the bottom frame that references javascript on the other frame.. so its not active until the other frame has finished loading.
