Exclamation Developed & Unique Arcade Website - $50 per day revenue!

Your name: Daniel Sitar

Your Email address: daniel.sitar@shaw.ca

URL of the site: http://www.ArcadeDevil.com

Age of site: 6 months (I have owned it for only 3 weeks)

Traffic statistics (PageViews & Uniques ONLY): 600 visits / 300 uniques per day. Screenshot from a couple days ago:

Source of traffic: Type ins and search engines - much of the traffic that comes from search engines are people searching for "Arcade Devil" - see the following screenshot:
http://www.arcadedevil.com/stats/refs.jpg

Asking price: $25,000 USD

Gross and net revenue per month (Total): Site is averaging $50 per day which equates to around $1500 per month. Hosting only costs $5-$10 per month as bandwidth is around 10 gigs per month.

The specific source of your revenue (Names/Details for each. DO NOT post your Google AdSense data): Site uses YPN (Yahoo Publisher Network), proof of revenue can be provided to seriously interested buyers.

Copyright status of the content on the site: The script running the site is unique and I have full rights to it (which the buyer will obtain).

Reason I am selling: I am looking to buy a car and as such need money for a down payment. Otherwise I would keep this website and continue to make solid revenue month after month.

The website is run using a custom PHP script and database containing all of the games that is unique and is very easy to use. You can add/edit/delete games from the admin panel in seconds. I spend no more than 5 minutes per day on this site - it is very easy and simple to manage.

Furthermore, ArcadeDevil.com does not use ANY advertising whatsoever. People know the website by name (scores 129 on OVT with extension) and therefore traffic will stick around for a long time to come.

This website is a great deal - I fully believe the buyer will be very happy with what they recieve and how quickly they will be able to recover their investment. If I did not need to purchase an automobile I would not be selling at this time.

My asking price is $25,000 (about 15 months of current revenue) and I will consider offers over $15,000 (less than 1 year's revenue). The transaction can be completed via Bank Transfer or an Escrow service.

I can be reached via email (listed at the top of this post) or by PM on this forum.

There are lots of arcade sites out there, but almost none are fully unique, do not advertise at all and have thousands of returning visitors. At just over 1 year's current revenue, this site is priced to sell quickly.

Thank you for reading this post and don't hesistate to contact me if you have any further questions or wish more information.

Thank you,
Daniel Sitar

Just a few quick remarks, although I know we all have eyes in our head, but I want to help beginning webmasters analyse these kind of offers:

You're making the $50 only because of the confusing ads next to images of games. People tend to look at the images and expect to get a game when they click the text next to it. Without that, you would make what.. $10 a day max?

You did not mention that the games are all hotlinked from other sites. 30% of the couple of games I clicked were dead links.

This site is not that unique, knowing that there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of sites like this one. You are a good seller though, with a nice story. I hope you will get a fair price for it.

Eriky, you bring up some fair points. However, the dead links can be edited in not too much time (as the site's owner gets a daily email about all dead links reported). Yahoo revenue has been steady - and even if it were to drop the amount of returning visitors would mean you could easily continue to make good money. One could also add pop ups or inviews to make additional income.
