Default Are people hardly doing CPA here?

Are people hardly doing CPA here these days?

The CPA forum is so inactive, and I don't get answers to most of my questions...

demae, there are lots of Geek/Talk members using CPA programs and many of them are doing very well with them.

There has long been more activity in the CPC/CPM forum.

I only found 3 questions that you asked in the past four months in the CPA forum and 2 of them were answered. The one that wasn't was a slightly unusual casino question.

There are all types of reasons why questions aren't answered at times.

Sometimes a question is worded in such a way that it is difficult to understand.

There are times when a person might know the answer but doesn't want to take the time to answer right then and never gets around to giving an answer.

A question might require a detailed answer and no one decides to take the time to answer.

If you ask a question related to the more commone CPA programs you are much more likely to get a reply than when you ask about a program that has limited use simply because there aren't as many people involved with the program.

The same is often true when asking about something that is new. Often there just aren't many people who have experience with them.

Well, what I meant was:

1. $750 sign-up bonus - was hoping to see more people talking about their experiences with the IncentAClick program

2. the casino question

3. CPA to sign up for free e-mail account? - someone suggested Google AdSense but AdSense rejected me so I'm hoping for other options

CPA is alive and kickin'!

Like they said above, sometimes a question never gets answered/discussed because no one is quite sure what that person is asking or where they are going with their question/comment.

I read your little quick comment about incentivizing the casino offer...all I can say is make sure 100% sure that any offer you incentivize is okay with the network and/or owner of the offer.

Many times an offer is not authorized to be incentivized and when the advertiser discovers that's how you promoted it, they will withhold your commission. Which is in their rights. So read the TOS and ask questions. Don't blacklist yourself as an affiliate marketer.

When we get applications in from affiliates to join our network, and we see or hear that they have had problems with incentivizing offers, we will refuse their account.

Like Jon, I also didn't respond to those simply because I couldn't help, not because CPA is dead. These days, I'm doing more CPA business than CPM or CPC, but:

1. I don't yet have any experience with IncentAClick

2. I personally avoid online casino programs like the plague, though I do hope you're able to clean up on that signup bonus.

3. Free email signup programs would likely be too low-ball CPA to attract me, so it's not something I've explored.

It's a real pity that your threads didn't receive more attention, but less specific, conceptual threads about CPA programs do tend to receive loads of responses. It's hard to know what will attract the attention of our audience at times, but as a rule of thumb, questions dealing with very specific issues are often less likely to kick off busy topics.

Hey,

I'm a Publisher Representative for IncentaClick, so if you have any other questions I would be happy to help. By the way about the $750 sign-up bonus I answered that on another post so if your still curious... do a search for my posts.

I use cpa affiliate networks alot and earn over $1,000 dollars from them. I guess that the CPM / CPC forum is more active because people talk about fastclick, casalemedia, adsense and the new YPN alot.

Yes I wish the affiliate forum here was busier. I like this forum and would post here more often if it was. But you can't push a rope.

I agree. CPA is my main source of income and it would be nice to discuss it with other people.
