Question clickXchange, low quality sites

I signed up to clickXchange as an advertiser a few weeks ago but I'm having alot of difficulty in finding quality webmaster sights that will run my ads..
I get about 5 requests a day from Chinese, Korean and other non english sites and a heap of very low quality sites none of them targeting "webmasters"
I pay 8c per click (is that to little?)
Should i be aproaching sites myself?

thanks in advance

I too am a ClickXChange advertiser. But since my program is pay-per-lead I'm less descriminating. I check the site stats and as long as their click-thru rate is normal looking and they have a fair number of impressions I usually accept them.

I'm curious if people who use Commission Junction have a different view on affiliate advertising? Is it worth it to become a CJ affiliate? (the large setup fee). Do you get a lot more sites as your affiliates with CJ over ClickXChange or do you have better quality affiliates or affiliates with larger sites? I'm curious what is gained by joining CJ over ClickXChange.

u generally get what u pay for. if u want "quality sites" put up some money. offer sites $2-5 cpm with a minumum of $500. u'll get some decent sites then. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/eek.gif

I signed up as an advertiser a month ago and offer 17 cents per click. All I got was a bunch of junk sites that tried to join my program.

Of the few sites that I accepted I paid out over $200 and got no results whatsoever.

I emailed them about 10 times now and never get any replies. Anyone ever get replies from them before?

If you really want good site to sign up, you will have to pay at least 12cent and set up standards... that why I don't sign up for some sponsors that offer 12 cents or less

Hi

I have about 194 affiliates over 4 different programs. This gives me about 29 clicks per week. But I do get 3400 views of my ads - all of which contain my URL and I have a definate improvement in traffic.

WebSiteSponsors - I too have emailed clickxchange and received no reply but then again I have also mailed your company and received no reply - annoying isn't it?
Regards

I have found the best way to get results in ClickXchange is
(a) filter very heavily
(b) pay your best performing affiliates more, and help + encourage them all your can

This works for me, but it takes a long time to build up to real results.

I'm getting around 30 visitors per day from ClickXchange now, good quality visitors, but I wish it were 300...
