Default Facebook to get in on the app action

Facebook app development can be big business. At least one game producer is reportedly generating $100 million in revenue per year from games that are distributed on Facebook and other outlets. Now, Facebook is looking to get in on the action by supporting a virtual currency or payment platform of sorts that will see them receive a commission whenever commercial transactions take place within Facebook apps, such as when people pay for virtual casino chips or to access exclusive app content.
