Default MySpace now shows more display ads than any other web property

Long the provenance of Yahoo.com, the mantle of the English world's biggest display ad provider has been passed down to a newer upstart.

Stats out of comScore that measured total display ads shown in June 2008 reveal that the mighty Yahoo served up 34.7 billion ads in the month across its network of web properties (accounting for just over 10% of the English world's total), while News Corp's MySpace delivered 51 billion for the month.

How would you like to be dishing up that many ads in a month? Very nice.
