I've mentioned previously that I really love search engines. I'm always looking at and testing new ones.
I'm posting this in the Google forum even though it involves both Google and Yahoo. But the site design will make you think more of Google than Yahoo. However it does attempt to remind you of both. This is rather interesting in that it is a class project done by a student at Northwestern University. You can search and it will combine Google and Yahoo and give you the best results from the combination. It will also just show the Google results and it will also just show the Yahoo results. When you search you can select to trust them both equally or to trust one more than the other for certain searches. You will have a better feel for it once you give it a try. Here's the link http://www.cs.northwestern.edu/~agupta/doubletrust/ Last edited by Larwee; 06-08-2005 at 12:24 AM. |
