Default Intro - sayin hello

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Been reading the posts at geekv for a long time, and finally decided to become a more active participant.

I'm a book author, business consultant, and a good deal of my income has to do directly or (most) indirectly with the Internet, and my sites. Have converted a lot of my older material (including my company's published books to e-versions and using infopost for sales and delivery.

Just finished my third major book, and in the process of outlining my next one which will have some relationship to e-business. I hope to be able to pick the brains of the geeks here on this subject, as I do further research on things that work, and the vast majority of things that don't work in today's Internet climate.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm no longer a geek, though. Gave it up, but don't tell anyone. Decided I couldn't stand computers after 10 years of geekhood.

...but now I'm stuck with them

Hmmm...well we'll just have to see how much geeky temptation you can take before your noble techie soul once again rises to the fore. j/k

Welcome rbacal. Feel free to take a look around, and maybe create a few threads related to your e-business interests with the "Business Principles", "Making Money..." or "Webmaster Issues" forums to get you into the swing of things.
