I have one questions: How do you manage to get so many people to come to your site? I would imagine you are not a major site with a good ad budget but rather a hard working webmaster with low or no ad budget.

Also another question for all for you is: How many impressions do you all think high quality shopping site needs in order to get in to doubleclick, and how much per cpm can a shopping portal expect to get?

But I donīt think I can make any big money with banner advertising. I am considering joining affiliate programs. Ben, I hope you manage to reach your $2-$3 CPM.

Ben, As per professor Czar http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif please start a new topic/thread with an appropriate topic title as this thread is about CPM. Don't forget to use the Search function at the top. Also, could you please eliminate the profanity in many of your posts.

Good luck http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif and thanks for your anticapted cooperation and support.

Since we are developing all the screensavers published on our site we have submitted them to download portals. This creates a never ending stream of visitors. When I checked the stats the night after our opening I was very surprised to see that our screensavers had been downloaded 20000+ times.

I agree with Czar, this thread is too long and way of the subject so this is my last post in this thread.

Sounds very optimistic but I doubt it.
Yelling and screaming will not help you in any way. My advice is: Try to find advertisers on your own. And if they turn you down then yell at them your *** off.

However we won't stop until we get a minimum 2 $ CPM rate Banner rate, , 2 banners each page . 4 $CPM , thats the lowest we will go..

and im telling u , even if it means yelling the **** out of an ad agency CEO on the phone, we will get our cpm rate we deserve...

:::My site is gaming related and boasts up to 3-4 million impressions a month.

I think it's impossible to find a CPM banner company that will even accept gaming sites. I have no CPM baners on my sites, total of 1,500,000 hits a month. I'm not even sure how gamefaqs.com got accepted into a new banner network!! I have a contest form where my CPM banners would normally be.

Amazing Thread About The Craziest Guy I Have ever Seen One Net.

Two Big Points That Make That Person Crazy are:

1.Without Launching Site he is Getting More Than 2 Millon Impressions http://geekvillage.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

2.He Wants Really More In Life...4$cpm is very less for him. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

oh god give in a sponser in current time who pays me 2$ cpm i will be in heaven http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

EASY MONEY BEN91!!!

BEN91 - Here is the deal. I will bet you $1,000, that within the next 2 months you do not get a $4 cpm from any third party network. Let me know if you are interested and we will work out the details, I'd be happy to put the money in escrow. All I would need to see would be an actual report from L90, doubleclick of someone that shows your traffic and their payment to you.

Easy as that. It would make this forum interesting....

Please correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't this guy banned a long time ago ?

Pretty futile to offer him bets when he can't respond,

which ofcourse is for the best...I've read his posts http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hello everyone,

Point taken and thanks for help. Ben61 is no longer with us so I hope no ones minds if I lock this thread.

Iv'e seen 30 posts to a single thread in 10 minutes. 20 new topics in about 15 minutes. I believe the largest number of posts in a single thread was about 135.
