Of course I know what Highway 101 is Doug! http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif I am from Santa Cruz, remember.. heh.. I think I may have failed you though. I am back home in the SF Bay Area and never got on your ride. I will be going back to SC often though because I am currently homeless for the next school year. Wish me luck on finding a place to live!

Back on the topic of Beaches in London. Last night I watched a movie called "The Limey" It was a pretty darn good movie but the point of it was that they showed clips of a beach in the movie and I believe it was supposed to be in England. I suggest watching the movie, not only because you see a beach in England but also, it's a good movie. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/wink.gif

Hawaii's beaches are awesome. Believe it or not, the islands are surrounded with them!

My company has offices in every state and you might think they would send me out to the Hawaii office to check up on them. No such luck...

Maybe on July 4th we should all meet at Gata's great beach in London. Whaddaya think??

Cool

Any beach..any where..fireworks flying high...but the fact that the 4th of July has less than positive aspects in Jolly Olde, makes it even more attractive to a bunch of Yanks celebrating independence and an equal bunch of Brits scratching their heads and wondering what all the fuss is about.
Wendy, your on..in spirit anyway..we'll be at Sea World for the blow out fireworks..(day at the beach though! I'll have some fish'n'chips as a gesture) http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

M3rcury: The ENTIRE point of this thread is that it NEVER had any significance!
It's just a place to be other than geekish and fool around..the thread is not stopped or removed because it is entirely harmless as well as the biggest freakin' thread on the board for absolutely no reason what so ever, except that some of us are keeping it alive...just because. If it's not your cup of tea..don't read it..but DO continue to post anyway! (??) http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

C.R.A.P. tables when used with proper periods, clears security. The periods prevent the word **** from have a cohesive quality that may be misconstrued as alluding to one Mr.****per who developed the synonym word for Vegas, ie: Toilet. At least that's what it's called by those who work the joints up and down the s.t.r.i.p.
And there are those that say this thread has no meaning!

Sadly, I have had to create my own beach in the desert. Just to moved to Las Vegas from beautiful Laguna Niguel, CA. But what a beach it is!
Neon waves crashing against slot machines...Scantily clad waitresses serving free drinks as you soak up the sun...Elvis is here, doing 3 shows daily (but he somehow looks like Joe Isuzu). Valet parking for your surf board. You can walk your dog here, and there is actually a place for them to do their business, as we locals like to call it, the **** Tables. And Chet, there is no fear of broken bottles in the sand here, as housekeeping runs 24 hours a day! Ah, what a life!

Of course in reality, the beach is a bucket of tap water with Epsom Salt, those breaking waves come form a 25 year old cassette player and those scantily clad waitresses charge 200 dollars an hour! But Elvis really is alive and does look like Joe Isuzu!

Don't forget the umbrella and the Foster grants.
