Visitors Are Not Clicking !! Site Review Required

Dear People ,

I have just started a web-based email service using the service provided for by Outblaze .

My whole problem is actually this . I get about thirty to fourty new and unique visitors a day to my website . I consider this figure particularly good because I have not done any form of advertising what so ever. Another point to note is that my site is not officially launched as i am still developing its key features .

From the tracking software that I have just installed , I have found that many people who visit myself actually just go to their location bar and type out my url namely http://www.heartz.com .

What's more , it seems that they keep on coming back to my main page as the number of banner impressions from my front page is much higher than the pages inside my email interface . I am actually not having a problem in people coming to my site but actually signing up for my service . More importantly , my Clicktru rate now is only about 1.2% . Is this normal ?

I quite certainly know that many people were interested in having an @heartz.com email account especially since I had quite a large number of users in my @heartz.zzn.com account. However I also understand that the web-based email service is an extremely competitive one .

I would extremely appreciate it if you could provide me with some feedback on how I can improve the look and the feel of my site . I would definitely like for it to look professional but with all the other value added services such as an electronic greeting card service and a heartz-to-heart counselling service all to be introduced later this year .

For my current situation now , it is advisable to switch to pay per impression based services . I believe I would have no problems at all in achieving the minimum 1000 impressions a month as required by these companies . Please advice .

Arm your guns and critisize . I need it ! I want it ! Just as long as it is concrete critisism.
