I just saw something about a high school student in Indiana who does something rather strange for enjoyment and excitement. While he is standing he has a friend run into him and hit him with a car at a speed of more than 20 miles per hour. They have done this several times. When they tried it a few days ago, things didn't go right and the guy who was hit by the car was injured. A broken leg was his major injury.
This has been a rather busy day for me and I was interested in something that would possibly provide me a little fun and excitement. But standing and having someone run into me and hit me with a car isn't my idea of fun. It turns out that Google is going to provide me with some enjoyment and excitement. They have just introduced four new products that I can take for a test drive and not worry about running into anyone. Google Co-op Beta is a community where people can contribute to help improve Google search for others. There are a lot more details. Here is a link to Google Co-op where you can find all of the details http://www.google.com/coop Google Desktop 4 Beta allows users to personalize their desktops with Google Gadgets, plus it has several other features. Google Notebook This is a personal browser tool that makes it easy to organize your thoughts when researching online. Google Trends allows you to find trends and facts associated with Google searches around the world. http://www.google.com/trends I've been spending a little time with some of these and I can see where some people are going to have good uses for them. Here is a Google link that has more details about all of these new Google features http://www.google.com/press/pressrel/new_tech.html |
